In 1994, Malibu licensed the Street Fighter franchise from Capcom and began a comic series. However, their adaptation was not well-received by Capcom and the series was cancelled after just three issues.<br/>The comic plays somewhat fast and loose with the games' continuity, seeming to combine the events of Street Fighter 1 & 2 together, and using EGM's April Fool's hoax character Sheng Long as part of the cast, amongst other things.<br/>Also features a brief guest appearance by Malibu's superhero character the Ferret, connecting this series with the Protectors and the Genesis Universe.
